4 NATURAL FACE MASK FOR DRY SKIN

                       



Dry skin can be a troublesome, especially in winters. To stay healthy and do its job, the skin needs water and naturally occurring oils to keep it soft, supple, and stretchy. Without moisture and oils, skin can dry out. Dry skin is a condition in which the skin is unable to retain its moisture or is having low levels of sebum production. It could be natural or due to different environmental factors like pollution . Mild cases of dry skin are very common symptoms  they may include :
  • patches of itchy or scaly skin
  • flaky skin with a rough texture
  • cracks in the skin
  • skin that stings or burns
  • loose, wrinkled skin
  • peeling skin

Many different things that can cause dry skin, including environmental causes and certain health conditions.

  • using harsh deodorants or cleaning products
  • taking long, hot showers or baths
  • living in cold, dry conditions
  • dehydration
  • Eczema

There are many things people can do to avoid developing dry skin such as :-

  • washing in warm, not hot, water
  • staying in the bath or shower for no more than 10 minutes
  • using only gentle, fragrance-free cleaning products
  • patting, not rubbing, the skin dry after washing
  • applying plenty of moisturizer immediately after drying the skin
  • avoiding sitting or standing close to heat sources, such as fireplaces , gas stoves
  • drinking plenty of water
Face Mask is also beneficial for dry skin. Homemade dry skin face masks have replenished moisture, help encourage healing and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Cream, gel and masks are generally the best types of homemade dry skin Face masks. Face masks containing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, collagen and essential oils may help protect the dry skin’s natural barrier and add moisture.

SOME NATURAL HOMEMADE FACE MASK FOR DRY SKIN 

  1. Tomato face mask :- Tomato will benefit up tired skin while oats will scrub away dead cells. Take Pulp of half a tomato ,1 tablespoon of oats and 1 tablespoon of yogurt Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and make a paste of it and apply this paste on face and neck for 10-15 mins and then wash it properly with warm water.
  2. Honey and banana :- Bananas are sticky and gooey, which is why they help get rid of dirt, dust or dead skin on the surface of the skin. Honey, too, helps to clean the pores by pulling out any impurities present on our face  mix these two ingredients together, and  make a mask and apply it on skin for 20 mins .
  3. Cucumber face mask :- This cucumber facial mask can help your dry skin retain moisture and alleviate dullness and itching . Take half of blended cucumber and 2 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel. and apply the paste on skin for 20 mins.
  4. Potato mask :- Potato’s work as bleaching agents and lemon’s citric acid will drive dullness away. Take half potato and grate into a fine paste add 2 tablespoons of fresh yogurt and 1 tablespoon lemon juice mix all ingredients in a bowl and apply the mixture to face and neck. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash with cold water.
